suggests its a certification error DATE/TIME/YEAR
should be looked at, if these keep failing could be a CMOS battery issue, namely, ya need a new one...

When you checked your clock/date was it correct, or did you have to reset it?

If it was correct you could try this:

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Browse down to the Security section.
5. Make sure there is no tick in the box beside "Check for server certificate revocation" and then click Apply and OK.
6. Close and then restart Internet Explorer.

And has this happened ever since you had the new drive installed?

.
Runing vista home premium(32bit) tried your idea but no sucssess. Any more.New hard drive installed by manufacturer as was still under warranty and yes only started with new h/d
.
Please post on the thread so that everyone can follow the situation and hopefully come up with an answer.

You didn't make it clear in your original question - did you have to reset your time/date or was it correct anyway?

If aftr checking the date time tec in the Bios and it keeps on changing you need a cmos battery.

look on the net and youtube on how to change it and dont foget to ground yourself before you replace it

and before even attempting to change it write the BIOS settings this the most importnat

coz if you change without noting the bios setting things could go wrong when you have to change the settings on the BIOS
