Can anyone tell me What 8 Bits is equal to?, and what is equal to 1 kilobit please

8 bits equal 1 byte, and 1,024 bytes equal 1
kilobyte, and 1,024 kilobytes equal one megabyte.

for example 11111111, 10101010, 11001101, all of them are 8 bits codes (string)

1 kilobit is 1000 bits, so 11111111.......

thanks for the answer but its not quite what I'm after, a bit in between the BYTES is BITS. I've got to find out What
8 BITS is equal to
What equals 1 KILOBIT
then after that I've got
1000 BYTES is equal to 1 kilobyte
what equals 1 megabyte
etc
the first part is BITS not BYTES
thanks

In simple arithmetic terms - 1 kilobit = 125bytes

Am I getting warm?
