I remember reading here about a year ago that there is problems or can be problems if a computer that is running Win98Se with 512MB DDR memory can crash or lock up with Blue screens etc.

Is this also or is there a limit to having 512MB DDR when running a PC with Windows Millenium ?

Re-word thr question: Has anyone had any problems running 2 x 256MB DDR memory with a WinME O's computer please. Also with no tweaking.

No problem with 512Mb in Win98se or ME.

It's in excess of 512 that can cause problems.

Had a feeling that there was some issue about it. So I will do 2x 256MB PC2100 DDR and go to WinMe on my older machine.
