i have a 3com wireless router. it operates fine and dandy with my desktop wired connection however with some laptops and even another desk top some websites like google and e bay just wont load and others (not many) like currys do .....I think it might be someting to do with the MTU settings in the registry settings.....aol say the MTU should be set to 1400 not 1450 as I have sometimes found them to be.......anyway having changed the all MTU's I can find in the registry on the laptop I'm still getting problems ........Is there any knowledgeable soul who can help

If you are connecting via a router, presumably a combined "Router/ADSL Modem, I would have thought the MTU value would have to be set in the router.
