A 300W Power Supply - How Can I Tell?

I'm looking to upgrade my grahpics card and am looking at several that require a 300W PSU. However, I'm not sure if I have one, or how to check.

Unfortunately I don't want to break the seals due to warranty (i'll obviously have to to install the card!). So, can I tell from something like Everest Home Ed. just what PSU I have?

I suspect it'll be ok, as the system is only 8 months old.

Cheers.

Manufacturers normally put the lowest rated power supplies in they can get away with. It's one of the ways they cut costs.

The only way you can tell is by the label on the power supply and seeing as your going to have to go in the case anyway, I don't really see the difference.

PSU is normally marked on them you may have to remove to see it, but you may only have to take the cover off
