2nd hard Drive problem

  tigertop2 17:24 15 Feb 08

I have installed a second SATA hard drive but cannot get it to show up on my PC. It shows up in device manager which says it is OK. However I expected it to show up on 'My Computer as drive 'D'--but no sign of it. If I can get it shown I would expect to be able to right click it and select 'format'. It does not appear in CMOS. Anyone any idea what I need to do to find it and get it recognised? (Connections have been checked 3 times)

Right click My computer -select Manage - Storage disk management.

Select the drive right click to partition and format.
