Recently I built a new PC and have had no problems with the machine. I kept my original PC as a backup but no longer require it and in the near future it will be taking up valuable space.
I mentioned to a friend that at the end of the month / Feb I might be thinking of selling the original PC and he could have a possible buyer for me in the form of a friend of a friend. ( You know how these things work )
Anyway my question is :
What would be a fair price to sell it for ?
The PC is 20 months old and in excellent condition ( almost like new ) and works with no problems :
I dont want to rip the guy off, but at the same time , as I dont know them I dont want to just give it away.
These are the specs :
Packard Bell I Connect
Pet III 1 Ghz Processor
512 MG SD Ram PC133
Ledtek Winfast Gforce 2 MX Max with 64MG Ram
40 GB Seagate Hard Drive ( With appx 38 free )
Philips DVD Rom drive
New Lite on CD/RW 40 X 12 X 48
USB Mouse ( with third button / wheel )
Packard Bell 17inch Monitor
4 USB Ports
New Pinnacle Studios firewire Card ( 2 ports )
New Buffalo 10/100 Lan Card (ie Broadband ready )
Running Windows ME, Microsoft Works, along with various software applications like Asus DVD player, Nero 5.5 CD Burner, MGI Photosuite and all the usual other aplications that come with ME ie Outlook Express / Internet Explorer( V6 )
I was thinking of selling it at around GBP 250...Does this seem a fair price ?..Should I ask for more or less ??
Thanks for your comments.
