Dear all,

just got a 3g phone and want to transfer all my numbers onto it (for some reason, i cant send it from my sony ericsson k700i to my LG8120 via infra red).

so can i take my o2 chip, throw it into the 3g phone and transfer the numbers without damaging either the phone or sim card?

thank you

Can't you do it the old fashioned way by manually entering them?

If your 3g phone is open i.e accepts other network cards then you can it wont hurt to try if it is not open the phone will just say incorrect sim card. if you have infrared it should work try setting the phones abot 2-3inchs apart with both infrareds facing each other

entering over 100 phone numbers manually is not a fun way to spend an evening.

i intend to copy all contacts to my sim card then plop iot into my new 3g phone and copy them off that onto the phone.....

so it should be ok? and not ruin the card or phone?
