2 minor things I've been thinking about though can't find what to do about-

1. In windows media player v9 can you change the cd writer to leave no gaps between tracks?

2. On internet explorer (v6) is there anyway to turn off the prompter (when you type in click here it comes up with all the sites beginning with p) without turning off cookies altogether?

1) Nope. (99.99% sure)

2) Tools, Internet Options, Content, AutoComplete, Clear Forms.

just below the 'clear forms' button;

"to clear web address entries, on the General tab in Internet Options, click Clear History"

you may also want to uncheck 'use autocomplete for web addresses'

You can clear the spaces with nero

I know, I used to use nero but with XP its seemed rather pointless to do so since windows media player automaticly converts them for you to eliminating the need for 3 programmes (player, converter and writer) with just one programme.
Ack, the no gaps thing sucks...

WMP has a section called "Crossfading and Auto Volume Leveling" though I've not worked out what the crossfading does! May allow you to do something.
