2 sound cards

I think that you can have as many as you like but can only use one at a time!

Make sure that your onboard sound is disabled in the Bios otherwise you will get two lots of the same sounds...:-)

If it's the reverse, disable this device from Device Manager (sound card Properties, General tab menu).

having echoey,big sound doesn't seem so bad ;).thanks for your help,i shall disable onboard sound and try the blaster,then i shall know which one is the best.thanks all

Good though some onboard sound can prove, the Creative will win hands down...:-)
