Just brought a new monitor for my laptop - want it to mirror the desktop - not be an extension - how do I get back to that??????

I just plug it in before I boot, then both screens display the same, if I want to extend, I have to set it in Display Settings.

Cant get to do other than extend - if I stop exptend - then monitor is switched off....

There's normally a Fn key combination to do this - which one depends on the laptop.

Yeah, mines Fn F4 but, that only changes from LCD to CRT.
