2 screens connection as one

when I had windows ME I could have 2 separate screens where the mouse went from one to the other as if it was one huge screen. Now I have XP
there is no option for a primary and secondary screen. I have been in to the control panel -display-settings - advanced-displays

Update your graphics driver and the tab will become available.

If you open, say, Word, and set it to the 'small' window with 2 boxes top right, then open Excel and do the same, you should be able to size the screens without overlapping.

Should be 1 box top right, to the left of X close button.

Sorry, just got up. Are we talking 2 monitors?

I am.

Go to XP Help and Support in the start menu - and search for multiple monitors.
