Hiya All

Anyone know how to convert a 2 disc film, as in 2 discs of 3.6g (half the film on each disc) into 1 disc of an 8.4g double layer disc.

Many thanks for any help.

You can use a program called DVD shrink to do this. There are plenty of guides on click here on how to do the sort of thing you are wanting to do.

It is quite easy to do but may require reading about how to do it and mix and matching the guides as I did this for the starship troopers DVDs to put them on my portable video player as one file in AVI but can be done to reburn to another DVD.

no need to use double layer shrink willfit it to a single layer with no noticeable loss of quality
Note with shrink you willhave touse Reauthor toput 2 titles in that means you will have no menu

Thanks for replies.

Solved problem, extracted the vob files onto a hard drive and then used a prog ifoedit to create a new ifo file for it.

This prog reasembles all the Vops with the relevent files to run it.

Then cut the disc to a double layer with nero.

Got Shrink but didn't want to compess the files from 7.8g to 4.7g

Many thanks for help though.
