1st Cookies. I know that when I visit a Web Page the site will leave a cookie on my computer for future reference. Question does my computer leave a cookie on the visited site computer so that they can say Noels has visited this site so many times ??

2nd LOG OFF. When visiting this and other sites you have to LOG ON. I nearly always forget to LOG OFF. Question does it matter? and if not why have the LOG OFF facility?

Cookies on your own computer store all the info that they require

PS some have counting software to keep a check on how many times there site is visited but it does not store other info
