I have a Win 2003 Server network with one adsl modem router address I now have a second broadband connection for which I have tried to address a second router as Port forwarding on this second router will just not work. Our web server is and router 1 forwards fine, but the new one just won't play ball - even when pointed to a different IIS server on

Any help appreciated I am obviously missing something!!!!"

Any subnetting configured? Do any of your servers have dual NICs?

No - just gave it an IP and tried pointed it at the same severs as router 1. The idea was to split some of the traffic (mainly VPN) away from the main web/email stuff

sorry - yes all three servers have 2 nic's

Is it possible that is already allocated to some other piece of kit (e.g. one of the PCs on the network)?

Nope - checked that prior to assigning it

Are you setting the IP gateway(s) to reflect one or other router? How is DHCP being managed on the internal network, by one of your servers?
