I'm looking to buy a new 19" CRT to replace my 17" (which seems to be on the way out).

Any recomendations? I'm looking at the Samsung 950 and 957 Monitors. They CLAIM to have a dotpitch of .22mm, where as most others I've seen are .26mm .

Oh, I am looking to spend £150 max, or posibly a little more.

Thanks.

Where are you looking?

Do you read MicroMart?

I have a Samsung 957DF which I bought about a year and a half ago for £250. It's an excellent monitor APART from the top left corner of the screen where there is a small bend in the display. This is most noticeable when viewing text. This the second one of these I bought, the first was returned because of this fault, this one is exactly the same and I have just learnt to live with it.

Thanks for the response.

I'm mostly looking on Dabs and EBuyer at the moment.

I'm a little put off the Samsung if there's distortion on the screen.

Also now looking at CTX and Philips monitors.

I've had a CTX PR960F for just over a year and it is excellent. See PCA review.

Budget iiyama for that price. I think the decent 454 is £260!
