i use an LG1710B its really brilliant, kills my CRT, the colours are great and there is no smearing at all

Ditto that. I just got mine and am impressed. Even came with both DVI and DSub cables! (and two lots of setup booklet and driver CD!!)

The cheapest one is from EBuyer or SVCDirect at £395 inc. VAT.

It has quite a good spec, and the "16ms response time means that fast-moving graphics will be smooth and fluid".

It is widescreen though, not sure if that's what you're looking for. 1280x768 resolution and has Built-In tuner.

16ms is that good! I note that some are 25ms ,what does that mean? any help would be usefull, thanks for the advice so far.

The difference is the amount of time it takes for the colour to change from Black to White to Black. The shorter the time the less blurring or trails you will see.

BTW, its response time is 16ms which is great for graphics and games.
