16 bit Windows subsystem ? - Please Help!!

Recently I have started getting a window pop up when a cd tries to autoplay

16 bit Windows subsystem
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXIC.NT. The systim file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose "Close" to terminate the application.

Choosing close or ignore just shuts the window and the cd does not play.

I think it is since i installed sp2?

What can be done?

I will be very grateful for any ideas

see if it is missing from system32 folder - if so copy from repair folder and its fixed ;)

I tried all the complex solutions above and they would not work. Your fix is simple, to the point and very effective - so far ;-)

Thank you very, very much :-)
