So can you still buy 16bit network cards with an RJ45 slot in them?
And if so were from??

You might have to buy 2nd user, for example click here and the total cost is £5.

The difference between 32 and 16 bit PCMCIA is the former have a row of small bumps close to the laptop connector end. This stops 32 bit cards fitting 16 bit sockets but a 16 bit will fit a 32 bit socket.

So even if i buy a 32bit card it will still work if it is 16bit?
