16 Bit PCMCIA Cards

Like me, my notebook is no longer in the first flush of youth, and only supports 16 bit PCMCIA cards.

Is there an easy way of upgrading to 32 bit (Cardbus) or does it involve a major motherboard reconfiguration?

Thanks

Laurie

32 bit PCMCIA cards won't physically fit your laptop - they have little bumps on them to prevent insertion.

And if you could fit it, it would only work as fast as the system 16bit

Thanks. I was hoping to go wireless, ideally through a USB hub, but it looks like I'm stuck with technology from the last century!
