Does anyone know of a program that I can install that will arrange all my photos then allow me to resize them for my desktop which has a resolution of 1280x800?

thanks in advance.

of display properties select stretch in the position field and see if that produces acceptable results to you. Assuming you have XP, which you didnt say.

This does bulk resizing, but you may have "arrange" something another way ;-)

unfortunately the strech does not work. ideally there is another program that looks like the windows desktop box, but that will resize photos to the right resolution/shape.

thanks

or is not available or produces unsatisfactory results?

it just zooms in and doesnt show the whole picture. If anything i would like the picture to be shown in full and with a black border if it doesnt fit. not just the middle bit!

thanks

Resize with Irfanview, set as centred wallpaper - it won't affect the original image. Irfanview can batch process images if you do want a load of images resized. click here
