The IBM 120gb as been on offer at a number of places for less than £90.00 for a few weeks now. Various reviews seem to give it a fair write-up.But it make you wonder why it is much cheaper than other compatible hard drives, from other manufacturers.Still the guarantee/warranty is the same timespan as others, so in all it looks like a bargain.

the price simply are quoting there seems good enough to be a mistake, if you want a big drive jump on that now (it has a small buffer though)

this link click here is page from my second link and there are 5 different 100gb+ h/drives from 5 different vendors all at sub £100 including the maxtor DiamondMax Plus9 120.0 Gb [6Y120P0] with 8mb cache, not sure how good this one is, as have seen many complaints about maxtor drive on this site.

plus the seagate Barracuda ATA V [ST3120023A] 120.0 Gb who in my personnal opinion make the best hard drives
