100 Gig Backup of Image Files

I need to backup 100 gig of images for a client.

I need to come up with a nightly back up policy.

However at the moment they have no backup at all!

I was wondering what is the best way just to take a complete copy.

The images are on an external hard drive.

AS for the backup utility does anyone recommend the built in Win XP backup utility?

acronis will do scheduled backups, I assume that the 100 gig are not all different from day to day, in which case you could probably do incremental backup of the changes but be warned inremental plus original soon add up. Is the copy just for security to take off site?

A friend of moine uses Backup magic and it costs around $25. The good thing about it is that it will backup incrementally (only backs up altered or new files and leaves any untouched ones alone) which means that it is a quick transfer. The images can then be backed up onto the main computer or (better) onto an extrnal disk that someone takes home or is put in afiresafe. click here

(ps it will not 'ghost' a disk)
