1 Wireless & 1 Wired Router on same phone line?

Hello folks!

We have 2 desktop PC's and one laptop in our house, the PC's are different floors and we use 1 BT phone line. I have one Belkin Wireless router wired to one PC and the other PC and Laptop use the wireless connections.

As the wireless signal is at best weak I am wondering if it is possible to use two routers on the same phone line, 1 wired router to one PC and our existing wireless router for the other PC and laptop. Also does a router take the place of a normal phone in the BT REN units system?

Many thanks for your advise.

It is actually the "Modem" part of the Modem/Router which connects to the phone line and you can only connect *ONE* Modem to the ADSL enabled phone line.

It doesn't count when calculating the number of phones, based on their REN value, that can be connected.
