0% Processor Usage

When my computer boots up it appears to run well until its loaded a few of the items in the system tray. And then it pauses for 10-30 Secs and then it carries on loading the programs. When i say pauses i mean the processor doesn't run at all. As Ive looked at the CPU usage graph on windows task manger and its showed 0%.

How can i solve this? As it hasn't always done this.

Cheers

go to start - run - msconfig - and top right startup tab - remove the ticks from everything except you virus checker and firewall. Then reboot and see if this is any better if it is then one of the things you stopped is the culprit. Try adding things back 1 at a time until you get the problem again. Most of the stuff ticked is not really needed the less ticked the better. After you have rebooted put a tick in the left hand box to avoid being told that you have altered things.
