Hi,

I built my own PC about 11/12 years ago. Since then I have used work laptops at home. I want to get back into PC gaming as I really miss it.

I plan to build myself (unless someone can recommend a good company for good price). What spec should I be aiming for? I would love to play crysis.

Sorry not up-to-date on the latest CPU and graphics cards.

I already have a 19inch monitor, so the resoltion won't be incredibly high.

My budgect is roughly £1,000.

Cheers!
Russ

Cougar Extreme have a good reputation on here for building PCs click here Might be worth giving them a ring to discuss specifications after you've checked out the kit they have available.

a quick note

if you go down the buy route make sure you have a windows 7 upgrade option

if you build it may be worth hanging on a few months and wait for the win 7 it is a whole lot better than vista
