so I'm building my first Desktop with a budget of around 600 EUROS including p+p and a new OS. i live in Ireland so that's why budget is in euros (i think it about 450-500£). I'm pretty new to all the really technical differences between parts. i got a tip to use over clockers UK and buying a bundle then just adding a good g.p.u

any1 have any experience of this? is it worth it? which is the best offer? etc. any1 no a good g.p.u for 1 of these bundles?

or should i just buy normal parts from scan.co.UK?

+was checking the bundles on over clockers and this seems to have outstanding reviews

any advice is GREATLY appreciated

That's not a bad bundle, which leaves you about £270 ish to spend on the rest. Case-hard-drive-power supply and OS, will you need a monitor, keyboard and mouse? You are going to struggle if you want a half decent graphics card in your set up.

dont need a monitor and i can get a cheap keyboard and mouse somewhere if i need them .... as for gpu i was looking at the evga gtx 460 se series although i cant seem to find the non se 460 on scan although i may be blind

or could you advise another gpu?

thanks

I am not getting anything except the Overclockers website, can you try again. I know this is tricky but if you look above the box you are typing in you will see a blue and green globe,if you click on it another box will open with a blue HTTP:// if you right click in the blue you can then post a link to the item. I have provided a link to my pc case, which after a few months I have decided I Case no longer like so will be getting a new case shortly. When you click on OK another bit will open and there you can type what you are linking to,I put in case.

If the above is to tricky then give me the name and price and website and I will try and find it myself then I will link back to this post and you can say whether I am right or not.

Nothing wrong with that selection given your budget,my only thought and this is a personal thing,I do not like to have 1 big hard-drive as if it fails you might lose everything, but if you have 2 smaller drives with everything on one drive backed up to the second, you are covered in case anything goes wrong. The card wireless in a desktop PC, not for me,if your gaming on-line then you really need a wired connection.
