hi I am looking at building a gaming pc and I was wondering if anyone knew if these components would be good enough to play current games on mid to high settings?

here are the specifications:

CPU: AMD FX 8320 Black Edition CPU Cooler: Xigmatek Dark Knight Nighthawk SD1283 Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
RAM: 8GB Corsair 1600mhz Vengeance (2x4GB)
Hard Drive: 1TB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s Optical Drive: 22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA
Graphics card: AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB Sound card: Onboard 7.1 Audio Internet: Wireless 802.11N 300Mbps MIMO PCI-E card
Case: Zalman Z3 Plus (17086)
PSU: 600W Corsair CX (18042)

thanks for your help!

Those specs will easily run current games on the highest settings, but the r9 270x may struggle over the next couple of years, so it might be worth going for something slightly more expensive now and sli two of them later. The processor is ok but an i5 3750k would be better, and if you can afford, it an i7. 8gb ram is fine, as most games are requiring 4 at the moment. If you are looking to upgrade the gpu the nvidia gtx 760 is only around £30 more and is slightly better. if you can afford it you might even want to go for the 770 or 780.
