Hi all, my grandson has FS 2004 installed on my PC, today he tried to play it and keeps getting the message 'Run stub.exe' when he installs the disc, and when you click on it nothing happens, any suggestions please, the game use to play. I am running Vista Home Premium. P.

Stub.exe is malware or spyware. Get rid of it with a spyware scanner and try again.

Ran an a2squared scan and quarantined the results but it still won't load. P.

have you tried a system restore to when it worked?

If no good, reinstall the sim.

I have completely uninstalled FS2004 several times but the message keeps coming up. This occurs with every one of the 4 discs that I have to load to play. I am wondering if the information on the discs has some how become corrupted. I could understand it if it was just the one disc, that has to be installed for the game to run, but all of them seems very strange. I haven't tried restore, as the game is quite old now, perhaps I will have to invest in a later FS version. P.
