Hello,

I've really been impressed by the Sonos wireless home music system but unfortunately it's a bit too expensive for me.

Can any one recommend an alternative system/solution using your home PC and a wireless speaker system? I appreciate the results may not be as good as Sonos or similar, but it would be more cost effective for my needs.

A quick google search yielded this:

click here to be honest I don't think these wireless speakers pack sufficient punch - I am happy to be proved wrong though!

Many thanks,

but

What exactly are your needs?

sound in one room only? with PC in another or speakers everywhere?

I have my PC networked to the TV(Humax box) by homeplugs (£30) and Speaker connected to the TV this way I can play any films or Mucis on the PC upstairs on the TV /speakers downstairs.

I use my nas drive and get onto it via wifi my tablet then bluetooth it across to my speaker,it works for me i know it sounds complicated but it's not really.
