Spam, Windows Live Mail and Android phone

Hi - I have Windows Live Mail on my PC and get very few spam messages. I also receive my emails on my Android Samsung phone (and Nexus tablet) but get inundated with spam. Is there anything I can add to get rid of this stuff, or is it all tied up with POP3 and imap settings, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Thanks.

Maybe just have a google to see if anything for your phone in it.There seems to be quite a few different ways of doing it.

I don't understand, you see the same email account on your pc and on your phone but only on the phone you see the spam emails?

Govan1x - I have Googled, but it's as much a case of am I doing something wrong, as all my accounts are POP3. Many of the comments seem to be that spam and junk should be stopped by the server (?).

Jonas51 - yes. In WLM, I can identify the sender's domain as junk, so it's slowing up but I can't see a similar way of doing it on the phone.
