Got or about to get a new LCD or plasma television?

The calibration method is similar to the one I already used for CRT sets (I got the contrast and brightness correct first and then "painted" on the colour until flesh tones were accurate in the majority of scenes).

No doubt the Spyder II is excellent, but personally I would balk at paying about £140 just to calibrate my screen.
