satellite scart output to laptop

I have a camping 12v satellite system which only has scart output to TV. As we are restricted for space it would be ideal to use my laptop rather than a TV. I already use a digital tv stick which is ok but when abroad a sat receiver would be ideal. Is there any way of output from a scart to be input via a usb port on the laptop?

There are, but I suspect they will be intended for laptop to TV rather than the other way round.

Depending on your laptop's audio/video input/output specifications, you may do better looking for a Scart to S-Video plus 3.5mm audio or Scart to RGA video plus audio.

Note that some Scart leads are one-way only rather than bi-directional.

Look for a SCART to RCA adabptor with an 'In/Out switch.
Then RCA phono leads
Then RCA/3mm stereo adaptor.
A real lash up but it all works on my Laptop/Projector/TV lecturing kit
