Retuned the Digi TV last night

With a spate of recent channel changes I thought time to retune to see what comes up - nothing new
my end at any rate- but,the wireless cans went somewhere else.
I clicked on Dave- an always weak/elusive station - and saw Catherine Tate - rabbiting on - but the Wireless Cans were talking about Diving, Submarines, is that a ship?- then came a break and 'Discovery' I/D came up - Hmm 'Freeview' does not have Discovery- so switch off TV
The cans however kept right on, Discovery.
Press the search button - still Discovery.
Switched TV back on and still Discovery no matter which station.
Activated search once more, then silence, clicked to a new station
All back to normal.
What was that all about I wonder,
House next door- in Darkness - Nurse on Nights
The other side does not have digital.
Oh Hum- another electron mystery.

I say enjoy Discovery channel whilst you can mate.
I'd love it.

You have another thread in which the last minute pull out of the Quest channel was discussed by a number of us.

Quest is a Discovery channel.

Not only the mystery of Discovery in the cans, but also why your post appears in another, totally unrelated, forum!

"talking about Diving, Submarines, is that a ship?- "
All submarines, regardless of size, in the RN are boats, not ships.

JB you digress- but to put the record straight
I am aware- having served RN time -albeit nearly sixty years ago- My comment was [not verbatim] what the 'Voice' in the cans said - and without sight of images no knowing what they were looking at.

Stuartli - now that was a possibility I had not considered - Quest up and running after all?
Had not looked I must say

Quest is still showing the screen change of the 14th that it is now "Coming Soon" in my area.

It could be that test transmissions are still being conducted from your transmitter, although this would be somewhat doubtful.
