Project ARA Modular Smartphone

Project ARA made some noise a while back claiming to have modular parts function so that owners could easily replace broken parts or upgrade specific parts they want to.

Modules can provide common smartphone features, such as cameras and speakers, but can also provide more specialized features, such as medical devices, receipt printers, laser pointers, pico projectors, night vision sensors, or game controller buttons.

click here it worth it to buy it when it's released or at all?
