Photoshop Elements 5 - Error message.

  Peter Lanky 16:48 28 Dec 09

I have been using Elements 5 successfully with Windows 7, but am suddenly unable to access it, and get the message

"Attempt to Access Invalid Address".

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but to no effect.

The organiser and downloader still work, but not the editor, which is the main application I use.

Adobe customer support doesn't want to know.

Operating System: Windows 7 home premium.

Try it and see if it cures the problem...

Streetwork, I saw that possible solution in my searches, but I have now found the problem. It is caused by Google Chrome, which had surreptitiously downloaded itself to my PC. Removal of this software solves the problem.
