phone to car connection

My car has a 3.5mm aux input for an mp3 player etc. I want to use my Nokia 6500 phone as a music source. The phone has an "enhancements" socket which is a 2.5mm jack socket. Is this the socket I use for a line out connection and is it just a case of using a 2.5mm to 3.5mm lead to connect the phone to the car?

Further to my question, I believe that the socket on the phone is a Smartphone socket. Can I use a Smartphone to 3.5mm adaptor (Maplin) to enable the use of headphones or connection to the car?
