I very tempted to buy one. Has anyone got any experience of this model?

Hi John

I have just purchased a Panasonic 32LZD85. I originally was going for the LZD80 but the higher spec and small price difference made me decide on the 85

It is quite brilliant, worked straight out of the box and the picture is great. It is easy to understand the controls and it is pretty much future proof for HD I am a very satisfied user. It instinctively seems to sort out PVRs, DVD players and anything else put through it

I got mine by webbrowsing suppliers and you should be able to purchase it for under £650

I'll have a look at the model you have mentioned and see what is gained with the higher spec.

You can't beat a Panasonic, except for an occasional one-off offering from another manufacturer...:-)

I have been pondering over the 37 inch of the model in the title click here

Either that or a 42inch Tosh (42xv505db) or a 40v300 from Sony.

John B I bet your head hurts as much as mine.

I also have the Panasonic 32LZD85, and bought it after reading one review in What TV & Plasma magazine. It's absolutely fantastic in all departments, and has recently dropped in price by £110 on Amazon.

I got the Panasonic TX-32 LXD700 LCD TV around 1 year ago and its a fabulous set and can highly recommend it and Panasonic in general. Below is a link to a review on it, if your interested.

You can buy a Panasonic TH-37PX80 plasma TV for far, far less than £770...:-)

My younger offspring bought one in April for nearly £200 less than that price for the LCD equivalent.

The plasma Panasonic will deliver an even better screen display than the Viera 37" TX37LZD80 HD LCD model.

In my experience some people find Plasma a better picture and some find LCD, personally I found LCD to be better quality (see the link to my review below). You have got to realize everyones eyes see things differently.

If you read my review, you will see the bad experience I had with Plasma's. I am probably not alone with the problem I had.
