We recently purchased this video camera for a trip to Europe. I have loaded the HD Writer AE 1.0 onto my laptop (Vista) and have used it to load the videos onto the laptop. The problem I can't seem to fix is that when I watch the video on my laptop, it is jittery. I have found limited information in the manual regarding this. They mention that Vista may cause a problem. So where does that leave me? Any suggestions.

I bought the hdc-sd200 for my trip to the states..Mine also looks jittery on my PC....but on my panasonic LCD the pictures are fantastic..Must be something about the PC's ability to handle HD content... My main issue is the ability to edit the things...I'm in the market for a good editor which can cope with the AVHDC format..I've got Adobe Premiere Elements 4 which can't cope. I'm told version 8 can but I may wait a while before buying..

We tried it on my husband's new laptop and it worked beautifully. I haven't tried editing yet but he has Windows 7 and I think that he may have an editing program with that.
