I think the updated version is the R220. Superb!

I too have an Epson R200 and have been very happy with the ease and results from printing to CD/DVDs.

Ive had the Epson R300 for 12 months, and find printing on CD\DVDs very good,The Epson R200 range are equaly as good for disk printing.

Whatever brand of printer you purchase, I recommend using a lacquer spray after printing a disk,e.g."print guard".as handling can smudge the print

At the risk of asking a daft question where do you buy printguard any shop e.g. pcworld or online?

Presumably it drys/hardens pretty quickly.

Sounds like a good tip as I have fallen foul of smudging in the past

See jakimo's thread at:

for the source.

By the way, the R200 and R300 have the same print engine and results should be very similar.

The R200 is difficult to find now but there are one or two sources of the R220 (there is now an R240 available but uses four rather than six cartridges).

This should not prove a problem as reviews state that similar prints from the R220 and R240 are virtually indistinguishable.
