How can i calibrate my dell monitor so that it matches the colours printed by printer. I use photoshop cs3 to edit my photographs. My printer is a HP D7160

There's a 4500 character limit here, so I will just give you this link - click here - and recommend that you search and digest.

Assuming you don't want spend money on such as the Spyder, which is what I use, download Monitor calibration wizard click here This is excellent and what I use prior to buying a "Spyder"

After calibration of your monitor go to the print Dialogue via CS3 and set colour management to "Let Printer manage colours".

Although the spyder comes with printer calibration, this is a bit of a long winded pain in the neck, so initially do not go down the printer calibration route unless absolutely neccesary
