Left mouse click problems.

I have a TRUST optical wired micro mouse and the left click button seems to have stopped working. Any ideas what I can do?

Mice are so cheap these days, bin it and buy a new one. More than likely the microswitch has packed up. Not worth repairing unless you are handy with a soldering iron and you've got a spare mouse to canabalise.

As a college technician I used to service mice, (no funnies please). It is almost certainly the micro switch or a plastic abutment actuator that is faulty.

As amonra said. "Mice are so cheap these days, bin it and buy a new one".

Just before you do this, how old is the mouse?
