Two attempts to watch a programme on BBC is player have failed of late with the message 'no band width' appearing on the computer screen, whilst the tablet got the item ,but sound only, whilst the screen stayed grey.

So is this the BBC end my kit-wireless to router or simply overloaded network? My system is BT Infinity fibre network.

BT Infinity Fibre should cope with this without any problem. Try doing a speed test at click here and see what your connection is actually delivering.

Have you tried setting a different channel on your router, some channels are very busy and you can get interference, also try switching off then on again your router that sometimes helps as it resets everything.

  • indeed all machines are wireless i the comfort of my armchair

A lan connection not really feasable without a lot of new cable run and rearranging the household.

if it is the wireless roter link, then I shall have to wait for the repeats and tune into Drama channel.
