I am a real computer dummy so here goes
My screen has become too large it overtakes the whole computer so you cant even see the red cross in the top right hand corner and i have also lost my clock at the bottom can anyone please help

Screen resolution probably. Go to your desktop (the view you see once the PC has booted0

Right click, properties, settings and move the slidder along. Click apply and OK. Your screen should have a native setting look in the manual and select the resolution it recommends. Post back if you cannot find it.

Re your earlier post, laptop = compactness. Desktop = more for your money and if games are involved the safer bet if they are high end games.
