i have a HTC desire C on talk mobile contract. I want a bigger android 4.1 smart phone, because the HTC is total rubbish, but when i look on e-bay etc there are lots for about £50 but many say does not support 3G, what does this mean? will my talk mobile sim work in one and will i be able to access the net out of my home wifi ? any advice gladly received, thanks.

A phone has to be 'unlocked' for a sim only contract. 3G is the highest mobile internet speed at the moment (very good) but 4G will be rolled out soon. Faster than 3G, but the phone will need to be 4G ready.

An android phone for £50 on ebay will turn out to be as dissappointing as the HTC you have in my humble opinion.

4G is already out for some mobile operators but is still very limited with coverage.
