Grabbing an image off a DVDR and save it to my PC

I have a dvd disc that has my daughters wedding on, I have asked the person who filmed the wedding if I have permission to do this and he said that it would be fine.

The question I have is this, if I watch the wedding dvd through my pc, is there a program that would allow me to pause the dvd in a choosen place and then allow me to save this still image to my pc as a jpeg or similar.

Yes I know NERO does this although the quality of the picture can be poor.

What player are you using to view the DVD?

If its Windows Media player (9/10), I believe crtl+i will capture the image (not sure what the qaulity would be like tho'). Have a trawl thro' some of these click here= or alternatively these click here=

Thanks everyone for the help. I have just been going through all the features In my PowerDVD 7 and there is a capture option in there that does exactly what I was wanting. Thanks anyway though for the help, much appreciated.
