Iv been asked by a friend to help edit a music video for him and was wondering if theres any websites that have free stock footage or video clips?

Also Free effects and transitions for ulead video studio 10?

Im kinda new to this, most of the videos iv done before has been game videos and such.

Any help that you can give will be appreciated,
As i said im new to this and want to get into it a whole lot more.

The music video that the guy wants me to edit is a slow love song, i guess he asked me as im probably the only one he knows who has a pc powerfull enough to do it and the fact that i have video editing software, :)

Also i have lost interest in making videos from games i really want to get into using live footage.

so i am after some cool effects and transitions and also free stock footage any ideas?

there are dozens of sites where you can get that, it's the 'free' part that's the problem.

Free fotage - if you can find it - is often of poor quality, and frankly much of it isn't worth having.

click here for a list of links to good stock footage sites.

It does seem ridiculous that they charge from £400 to £800 for stock footage,
I could buy a video camera and make my own for that and have enough to buy a full editing suite.

What do you want footage of?

What effects are you looking for?

If you must (you know how I feel about transitions ;-), what transitions are you looking for?

Well i aint sure what footage to be honest,
Something that would go well with a love song.

As for effects something that looks professional,
I know that aint much to go on but im not sure myself,
I havent done anything like this before, Im new to it but i want to make a professoinal looking video.
