Foxsat HDR archive

I have bought a Foxsat HDR with a 320 gig HD.
It suggests archiving programs to apendrive via the USB. I have done this but the file type is not recognised on my PC. I would like to put the program on a DVD, is there any way I can do this to be played on a DVD player or PC?

Thank you John B, I am downloading it now. Is there any way of getting it to play on a DVD player?

I expect it can be done; perhaps someone else will know. You could start a thread in the helproom for advice on that aspect.

This link suggests it can be done with VLC and refers to a youtube video, (at the top of page 5) but I've not tried so no promises.

This link is to a videolan wiki and also suggests it can be done. The link is to a cached version due to 'high demand' on the videolan site.

Might be worth a read.
