Hi I'm new to this forum but would like to say it is very helpful so far. I have a question though about which discs are best to record onto when using a dvd recorder?

Everything i've read so far is very confusing I would also like to know where to buy discs at the best prices.

Please help.

If your DVD recorder(s) support DVD RAM, I find these the most flexible. If not, if you want non reuse , go for DVD-R or DVD+R. For reusable discs go for DVD+or-RW.Is your DVD recorder built in to a PC or is it stand alone? The manual should give advice on the reccomended discs to use. I do not think it is worth buying unknown brands.
