A decent 20.1" widescreen monitor - Suggestions.

I've had my 17" LCD monitor for a couple of years now, and it's served me well, but with my new upgrade of my desktop unit, I'm now in the market for a new monitor. While I'd love a nice 24" panel, my wallet won't stretch that far so I'm looking for a nice 20.1" widescreen (1680x1050) panel that's suitable for a lot of Photoshop and Illustrator work, with the occasional game and more than occasional movie (my missus hogs the TV for the soaps, shudder) thrown in.
Onboard Speakers aren't needed, or in fact wanted, but a DVI input would be nice. Any photoshoppers or gamers out there got one they'd like to recommend? My funds stretch to approx £250, and while I know that I can get a 22 inch for that kind of money, does the fact the resolution is the same mean it's not quite as sharp?
